sometimes, as i'm herding myself onto the bus when i get off work,
i feel like a piece of cattle.
"I ought to say that it isn't an ordinary sort of boat. Sometimes it's a Boat, and sometimes
it's more of an Accident. It all depends."
"Depends on what?"
"On whether I'm on the top of it or underneath it."

you know, i've always said people are like cows.
A piece of cattle. You may be the first person in the history of English to construct that phrase.
But I suspect I'll be hearing it again, like next time Dan (The Bruce Dan, not The Beauchamp Dan) tosses a slab of beef on our grill ("hey babe, you want your piece of cattle medium rare?"), or smuggles you another sack of those nasty tacos... although I still have my doubts about whether those things actually contain pieces of cattle.

funny how moments of creative inspiration often strike you when you're running on very little sleep.
The main diference between humans and cows is that humans don't become hamburgers. That and the fact that cows have four stomachs to our three...
we have three stomachs?
that explains why i eat so much...
that explains why I eat so little...
I thought we had five!!!
interesting...something to ponder...the similarities between cows and people...
