moo.

sometimes, as i'm herding myself onto the bus when i get off work,
i feel like a piece of cattle.

A piece of cattle. You may be the first person in the history of English to construct that phrase.

But I suspect I'll be hearing it again, like next time Dan (The Bruce Dan, not The Beauchamp Dan) tosses a slab of beef on our grill ("hey babe, you want your piece of cattle medium rare?"), or smuggles you another sack of those nasty tacos... although I still have my doubts about whether those things actually contain pieces of cattle.

The main diference between humans and cows is that humans don't become hamburgers. That and the fact that cows have four stomachs to our three...
