I would have to agree with your statement.
However, isn't it a prerequisite that you have to think your view is "better" or "more fresh" than most peoples views to get into a job like that in the first place?

Usually the movies that I like were horribly rated and the horrible ones get a really high rating...
Guess it's the day in which we live.. and I guess I really don't have to guess about that!
the thing is, eric is right. but they think their view is so much better that it's beneath them to enjoy or admit to enjoying all but the rare few (and usually .. pardon me... crappy) films.
it all becomes clear now...
