Only a couple of you will know these people at all, but I'm so happy for them I just felt like sharing a piece of my college days with the rest of you. I made a lot of good acquaintances in college - John was one of them - but few really close friends. Lindsey was one of the best. She is just a dear - a godly young woman whom I respect, admire, and perhaps most importantly, I trust implicitly for the balance and wisdom her walk with God has lent her. John recently proposed and they're now engaged to be married. After visiting with Lindsey more than once about marriage and relationship-type things it's wonderful to see her so happily matched. The Linzinator is one of those true friends whom you can so trust, who blesses your heart and strengthens your walk by her friendship. Though I've been blessed with more of that rare kind of friend than most, they were fewer in college, and I will always be thankful for knowing her.
Just thought I'd let you guys share in my own happiness.....

I know! I am so happy for them. I remember before Lindsey and lil john dated. she wanted to be with him so bad and now they are getting married!!
Awww, Dan--you are too kind! Growing up, I always listened to my parents talk of their college days, and I hoped to have such special friends like they did. I'll get to tell MY kids about solid friends like you, and all the fun times hanging out with you and Jeff at your place. Thanks for the wonderful memories! ~Lindsey
