Today it is truly cold. (Truly cold = pretty much anything under 60.) About time I guess. It's only November the sodding 16th.
This is not a good thing. I know some of you like winter, think it's positively smashing. Bully for you, and I wish you no ill-will. But I must admit that my sentiments differ from yours. I wish the whole cold weather thing would just bugger off. I do not like winter. And I most certainly do not like the cold. In fact I vehemently dislike it. Snow helps, but not enough to materially alter my opinion. And anyway we don't generally get snow here. I have tried, honestly I have tried, but it's no use. My favorite thing about winter is being inside.
And that is all I have to say about that.

give me a season full of a ball of fire 870,000 miles across. The winter is great cause of snow.But thats about it.
you know nothing about winter until you've lived in Michigan!!lol! Fortunatly, i love winter:) i just wish it would snow more here!!!
i would have to agree with jeff. i like fireplaces with fires in them and watching the snow fall outside...and squirrels. i like squirrels. fire, snow, and squirrels. you know what's even better? firing squirrels into the snow...

You know...George Bush has a weather machine. The one that caused the hurricanes. I bet he could make it snow for ya if you asked nicely. :-)
My sister is funny. Anyways, I despise the winter as well. Here's to months of it!
Winter is not my favorite either...but it sure does make you appreciate spring! When the winter starts to come around, so does this cold that I always seem to get...and dad ALWAYS makes me get a flu shot..ahh! No fun! Yeah, springtime and summer are definitely my favorites!
