My movie friend

So, as I was waiting for Rebecca to get out of class Wednesday in Murfreesboro, I decided to go see a movie I'd been wanting to watch - Serenity. Incidentally, if you like sci-fi at all you should probably check this one out. I thoroughly enjoyed it.

What inspired me to write this post, however, was a circumstance that I found rather amusing. See, I went by myself (sad I know, but still fun). Only I ended up not so much being by myself, because it turns out there was one other guy there. Yes, one. And no girls - no females. Just the one guy. Joe Bob and I had a great time watching the movie all by our lonesomes, and by the end it was clear for anyone to see (well, if anyone had been there) by our effusive goodbyes ("see ya"..."enjoyed it") that we had bonded in that mysterious way guys sometimes do when sharing a great guy movie. ("We're gonna go have some bonding time over carnage and bloodshed," my roommates and I have said many times.) I mean, we actually spoke to each other.

This post I dedicate to my good friend and fellow movie-goer Joe Bob. I will never forget you.
