spring
the air surrounding quickens in anticipation
gathering itself to service
expectant
alert...
                     she moves
                     she steps
eagerly blooms the earth in welcoming hue
before those feet whose gentle tread
leaves starlight
happily to twinkle in her prints.

Wow. Dan, all I can say is write more poetry, man. Good stuff.
My initial reaction... "swEEt!"
I think that I shall never see
a thing more beautiful than Dan's Po-e-TREE.
LOL,
Just kidding,
nice poem Dan.
"than her prints"? you lost me at 'prints.'
i meant 'in' her prints.

'prints' as in footprints. i broke my own rule about hasty readings of poetry.

My initial reaction... "Puke!"
I'm just kidding. It's actually very good!
