(hey, it's my 101st post! all hail the 101st post.)
I have developed quite a little array of nicknames for my brothers, and thought you might be interested in hearing them. Or not. You don't have to read any further than this. I don't care. But just in case,
Andrew as we all know may be the trophy holder for the most pseudonyms. The ones I personally indulge in are the widely popular drew dog and crandrew, along with my own creations, including the recent "Bro Bagger" and a ghettofied enunciation of his Christian name (sounds something like "ian-DJROU"). I used to be fond of "young squire" but then he started being not as young and it didn't seem to fit anymore.
Roy has probably the coolest name of us all, so as often as not I just use it. I do, however use "Royster" about 27 percent of the time and often find myself calling him "mug" without realizing I am doing so. I've been thinking about adding "Morris..."
Harry... well there you go. I can't seem to call the fellow anything but Harry. Every once in a while I adopt the popular "Harias," but usually... just "Harry." Minimal though it be, Harris wins the prize for a nickname that has almost entirely replaced the one given to him by his parents. Good old Harry.
Davis is probably my favorite, because they're so... obtuse. And uncreative. When I have occasion to address Davis, it inevitably comes out as one of the following (listed in order of origination from recent years back to the little fellow's infancy)
- Davis Davis Worth (an evolution of "Davis, Davis Worth" that now simply comes out as "DavisdavisWorth")
- Davey-Dave
- Davey
- dude
- duder
- little dude
You know how nicknames are. They just happen.

I have a few myself...
mmm... i like yours the best.
Does anyone still call you Dan the Man?
::side note:: What is your picture? (As if I couldn't guess)
since you're blogging about it, I want to go public with my 'Beauch Boys' nicknames; the ones I gave you each at birth or shortly thereafter.
it all started with your dad when we were kids:
KeeBo H.F.B. (as you know, out of respect for Keifor, the initials have to be a closely guarded secret.)
Eventually there was BoDan. And BoDoo.
Then Roy. Roy's Bo name never 'happened', so 27% of the time, Roy is just RoyBoy.
Next, HairBo. (Harris is definitely my hero for putting up with that all these years. And as far as I know, he's never even asked your mom to make me stop.)
Finally, BoDave. I'm considering adding "The Inscrutable" to his name.
Ha, well done, I say, well done. You know me, I know you, and you know that I know a thing or two about nicknames. Again, I say well done
Hey Dan, Dan the Pizza Man! Hows it goin'?

I hear that Chuck Norris isn't affraid of Death, Death is afraid of Chuck Norris.
ha! the other night when I was at the Beauchamps, John called Dan on the phone (or vise versa) and said "Hey, The Pipes, the Pipes!" It was great...and it made me smile... I love nicknames...
I know a thing or two about nicknames too...but it's not because I make them up...it's because people make them up for me... the main one is Lace...but Shorty and Short Stack have been used numerous times! ;) Gotta love it...
